NOTE
Framing is a rhythmical construction for a gamelan-like instrument, self-made from various metallic tubes. It is written for two percussionists. The composition is open, which means performers have all latitude to manipulate the content, creating new forms, inventing new possibilities. As a proposition there is no real beginning nor end. Framing is a moment, a non-precise amount of time. A version with two wind instruments is an option, adding long resonances to the percussive sounds.
